Great show!!! I wanted to comment on the piece where folks who do not take days off when they are sick. At my job if you call out you get a point against you. So that makes it difficult to miss work.
What kids today who live in California won’t get.
“That is a “E” ticket ride.”
Which is referring to Disneyland. When they first open they sold different leaves of tickets for there rides, going from A-E. The faster rides were “E” tickets rides, where the slower the ride the lower the letter. So rides like Peter Pan were “A” ticket rides…
The rides and attractions at Disneyland weren’t rated based on speed. They were based on the value of what the ride was worth. The more expensive rides (Haunted Mansion, Space Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean) were all rated for E tickets. The Disneyland railroad warranted a D ticket. Most of the rides in Fantasyland ~ including Peter Pan ~ were rated for a C ticket. Lesser attractions (walking through Sleeping Beauty Castle) I think was a B ticket and all of the “rides” on Main Street (Omnibus, horse-drawn carriage) were A tickets.

Hi ya all, great show. Mark, like you I love Andy Griffith, i do remember Bert the salesman👍I thought Poo’s voice sounded familiar. Am I psychic or was that the same itty bitty from last week? It was still funny. Great cool stories. It was good to hear Sam again. Love ya all (Red too) of course.❤❤
Jigsaw Puzzles are the best. Its my relaxation time. Sometimes it is frustrating to only get a couple pieces an hour, but then there are the times when every piece you pick up goes right in. I only work 1000pc ones and it could take anywhere from one to two weeks.
Also the person who complained about you spoiling things about Game of Thrones- It’s been on since 2011, so I don’t think anything you say can be considered a spoiler now, even if you are new to it. BTW you better hurry and finish as April 14. 2019 the final Season is returning!!!!!
Cool Stories carries me back in time to when radio was the entertainment and the true story tellers were the Deejays. Thank you Mark and Lynda. And Aliny, because if it wasn’t for her, you’d be an old man talking to yourself.
I met Dionne Warwick when I was a desk clerk years and years ago at a hotel. Most celebrity guests were nice. When she arrived, she did not approach the front desk, but stood far away while her “people” checked her in. I walked over to say hello to her (also as a fan) and she refused to even acknowledge that I spoke to her. She was that way throughout her stay.
