  2. The flagpole story was so hilarious. It reminded me of the RV story. I hope your front lawn was okay after driving on it. Lynda, I’m with you 20 feet would have been fine.
    Since the podcast is done on different days, is “This day in history” always based on Fridays or the actual streaming day?

  4. Hello, very educational podcast regarding the strikes, thank you.

    Yesterday we had the earthquake, 10 miles from us ~ we’re in Oxnard; I was on the pot and it sounded like someone was banging on the walls, I stood up and got dizzy. As I went to get my husband in the garage it sounded like he was banging on the door to get in, thinking it was locked ~ I locked the fucking door! By this time the quake was minimum 30 seconds in, finally got the door opened (stressed and scared) and my husband calmly says, we just had an earthquake. Tropical storm quake day !

  6. Lynda, the reason that Mark bought the pole is that he wants to stand in front of his house, holding a cup of coffee and yell “Hey Rusty, I have the largest pole on the block”!
