Dear Rock God, and the Brains of the duo The lovely Lynda.
Even though I love listening to both of you. And I haven’t missed an episode yet. I really enjoyed the episode with Mathew and Bradley. It brings an entirely different spectrum to the show. The interaction between you all is incredible. Although we missed Lynda. I thoroughly enjoyed it. And I would like to have more of these interactions. Love you guys!
A Twitter post said that “Christmas Shoes” was, in their opinion, the worst Christmas song. They asked for submissions as to what might be the “2nd worst. I happily replied with, “A Real Old Fashioned Christmas”, thanks to you guys.
Mark, you call everyone that calls you out on your B.S. “pigfucker” Get some new material. And by the way my team was the Washington Redskins. Since they are dead I no longer have a team. I’m dedicated to one team. I dont jump ship when a player gets cut and become a fan of the team that picks him up then jump back when the player gets resigned. To me that’s fickle and no team dedication.
Mark, Last Friday 26th Nov. Lynda mentioned Led Zeppelin. She didn’t want to talk about cause I guess she doesn’t like Led Zeppelin. I was curious to know what that was about cause Led Zeppelin one of my favorite bands.
Mark and Lynda! Really enjoyed today’s show (Mark’s Magic). My wife and I always look forward to them!
Listen, my wife was also curious about Matthew West, as we really enjoyed his “Come On Christmas” song that you played. We were bummed when you said he was no longer with us.
We were delighted however, when my wife discovered that he is still alive and well, and still performing! https://www.matthewwest.com/tour
In trying to get to the bottom of the RG’s confusion on this, I did stumble across this article from 2004, about a Matthew West of Durham, NC who was unfortunately killed in a car accident:
MARK, you did it again. Matthew West IS alive and well. He is 44 yrs old. Born in 1977. When you replayed Come On Christmas I have that from a past show. I have him in my collection. I love that song. He sounds a little like Michael Buble.
But just wanted to tell you HE IS ALIVE and well.
There is a lot of music, thanks to the RG, that I have collected since
Oct. 22, 2012. (Are you surprised that this 61 yr old REMEMBERS THAT DATE.
And still going strong and FINALLY yall can travel back and forth now. Enjoy your grandkids and ENJOY THE FAMILY WHILE OUT HERE with our nice DRY weather.
Have a Blessed Christmas and Happy New Year.
C yall back in 2022.
Hi Lynda…..I hope you and Mark had a nice Thanksgiving. So, my sister Maggie wishes to call in to the show this Friday November 26th. Mark said to contact you anytime she may want to call. Just a heads up. So glad you and Mark are Grandparents and that your all doing well. Love you both and the show so very much.
Mark, How was your return to Panther stadium? “meow” Ron Rivera and the Washington “no name” team tamed your kitties with your franchise QB back at the helm. Hopefully all the crow you ate on sunday didn’t spoil your Thanksgiving meal.😁
Just watched a documentary on Netflex about drummers. “Count me In”, never really gave 2 thoughts about drummers. Thier was some opinions on Greatest Drummers ever and what inspired them to be Drummers. When you talk to Matt this Thanksgiving, can ask him the same questions? If he’s Not to busy cleaning Baby Shit out from his fingernails. Happy Thanksgiving
Loved the podcast with the boys. I do have a question – at the beginning Mark said he was going to talk about a movie you all watched that was really good but he never got to it. What was the movie?

Also, Happy Birthday to Mark!
