Behind on the podcasts but catching up. Good to hear you talking about Peter Frampton. Saw him the other night at Pechanga in Temecula. Amazing show & a great guy!
I had heard of Doctor Clown, and have dropped off people at his office.
Sure, he had some odd signs outside the place, but so what?
Then I heard you tell your story….
That explains it all!
What’s even better, is that a few days ago I was about to get on 77 at exit 28, and as I’m approaching the on-ramp, I see some “clown” on the side of the road, waving about as cars are passing by.
As I pass him, I glance over and immediately recognize the dude.
It’s Dr. Clown!!!!!
What a special guy.
You have to go back for more!!!!!
Hey Mark and Lynda, great show as always, love you two!
Hearing your tribute to Jimmy Johnson reminded me that I haven’t thanked you yet for introducing me to the Muscle Shoals Documentary. It is amazing! Watched it 4 times and about due to watch it for the 5th.
THANK YOU!
The next time Mark goes to Dr. Clown he should go armed with jokes and start doing his Nasty the Clown bit to the Doctor and beat him to the punch. I’m big on beating people to the punch, whenever I see a person in the distance panhandling money when they come up to me I ask them for spare change before they can ask me, I’ve NEVER got a penny from any of those people.
Dear mark and Lynda. This might seem like a dumb question or idea, but I’d love to know what cars you have both owned throughout your life. Mark could do an ode to the automobiles that have made up your life. Cars have so many memories, and interesting backstories. As a gearhead id love to hear Mark post the cars on a list with period correct music. Just an idea. Have a great day.
Ok, RG, the paint fumes are definitely affecting you. Jimmy Johnson didn’t play guitar on Brown Sugar, he engineered the recordings. Start running a fan that paint room.
Mark, I’m almost positive that Dr. Clown would have been a re-occurring visitor or contributor to the Mark and Brian show. It almost seems like a sketch you guys would have set up!
Hi yall, Lynda it better to let your phone run down. Charging it at 50% will ruin the battery and it die at 50%. I’m so glad to hear you all are good. Dorin is fucked, I have people in West Verginia, worried about them also. Prayers to everyone in Dorians path. Is it just me, or is there a pattern to this show? Peter, pulling out and balls!🤣 Mark, I Just Droped In. Is a referance to sniffing glue or paint, alot of that shit was going on in 68, I was 10, and remember seeing it. Never did it myself. Mark, I did the exact sam thing with malted milk balls, I cant even look at them, it’s been over 50 years. Love yall
When you spoke of Elton John performing Candle In The Wind at Princess Diana’s funeral, there was something that really stood out for me. He sang the song, but didn’t sing the song exactly as he had written it. He changed the title and lyrics to Goodbye England’s Rose, and there’s a YouTube clip of it, if you want to check it out.
Hope you enjoy the football game, and the Farmers enjoy their “Farmer Suite”. Just tell ‘em to ignore that cranky guy from room service…
