I’m a pitcher capable of throwing a baseball 100 miles per hour. I’m standing in the bed of a truck going 20 mph. I throw a ball to my best ability. It travels 120 mph.
Speed of light is a finite measurement (186,000 miles per second). That’s just the speed of the light energy. If you have more energy behind the light, it has to go faster.

OMG – I think I know the bugs that you have around the lake… Mayflies!!! Last year on the houseboat we rented in Tennessee, we were SHOVELING them off the boat after they were attracted by the lights on the boat and then all died since they have such a short life span. SO GROSS!!!
Also, you will love the DEFIANT ONES – it’s sort of like a Betcha Didn’t Know in fact I was wondering if you had included Jimmy Iovine in one of your BDK stories back in the day….. Can’t wait to hear your review and ENJOY!
