Not sure how stupid of a question this is but can you record the show on Dec. 3th and put on your website? I live in Oregon and wont be able to attend, but it would be fun to watch or listen to it. Just a thought….
Mark’s cat story cracked me up. He starts off hesitant, like it might be too bad of a story to tell, then Lynda is worried about it. Then the story itself is very benign. Worst case scenario the cat ate a bit too much food. Lynda seems at ease. Then he drops the dark part about killing the cat with a knife and it’s so funny because our expectations kept getting twisted. Brilliant, RG! Now, about the book. I keep checking the mailbox.. WHEN IS IT SHIPPING DAMN IT! 😉
I’m so excited about the book! Mark, you documenting your journey during those wonderful years (along with some of your earlier life) is such a gift to we, the stupid listeners. I remember the days I’d get to work and everyone would be saying…. OMG – Did you listen to Mark & Brian this morning! The freeway love connections, Miniature Theatres, listeners guessing when the last time their parents “did it” (and then you guys getting the parents on the phone), celebrity interviews, your amazing Birthday Shows and all of your other “shenanigans” kept commuters sane and actually happy while on the 101 or the 405! Because I’ve become more of audio book listener, I’m going to be ordering the audio book. And, of course, your voice is so comforting to me and always has been. I’ve been listening to you since ’88 when I first moved to L.A. and now listen to you and Lynda (who I adore) on the podcast every week. It’s amazing to me that you’ve done all this work for the animal shelters here in Southern California. Thank you….You & Lynda are very special and very loved.
I was censored out of comments because I asked if Brian would be there? I full know it’s RG’s book etc. it’s a natural question as it took both of them to do.
Good luck on the prep.
Stuart

If we cannot get tickets or are unable to attend the show, will there be a DVD we can buy later? I’m desperate to go, but it may not be possible.
