Hey Mark, Someone posted a picture from 1990 of you and Brian broadcasting from Saudi Arabia. I was wondering if you have any memories or stories from that!
Mark…I know you get pissed off when you get corrected so just consider this an FYI. 😉 The five homeruns that Stan Musial hit are not in one game it was a double header… Still a great feat though! Also, the story about spilling your dads ashes… My elderly mother knocked over my Dad’s ashes because she had stored them in a container that was not sealed. Poor thing, she was all by herself and didn’t know what to do so she scooped them up and flushed them down the toilet. She was upset about it for a long time.
Very awesome to see/hear you guys after all these years. I moved away from LA over 25 years ago and had to listen via a couple of your syndicated stations till you guys retired. (I finally had to say good by to my favorite glow in the dark tee shirt just a couple years ago) Thanks for making that happen. Is there a recording that will be made available of the actual show? I heard you via youtube on the morning show.
You mentioned how you felt when you were getting ready to do the show and I flashed back to that moment when the old M and B theme song began playing on KLOS last that Thursday. A smile broke out on my face that I couldn’t have lost if I tried. I got goosebumps and started singing along like I had just heard it yesterday. I was on my way to see my spine Dr and was worried I was going to be in his office so long I would miss most of the show. When I finally got called back to see him I told his staff I needed to hurry today so I could listen to the Mark and Brian reunion show. His nurse looked at me funny and said she would mention it to him. Thanks to you and Brian, that was the fastest visit I have ever had with him. He came in all excited and asked me what the name of the show was that I wanted to get back to. When I told him he light up like a Christmas tree and pointed at his nurse and said “I told you it was Mark and Brian!” He asked me how I was listening to you and I told him. He couldn’t wait to get my appointment over so he could go tune in too. He said BURR was his favorite character and he mentioned that 34″ waist. We laughed and I made it to my car in record time to finish the show. Its crazy how far reaching your show was and how many people I meet that cant stop smiling when they talk about you guys. Thanks for keeping me smiling. Who knew a guy who should be in diapers could still be so much fun!

So Mark, Your recap of the “special one-time only reunion of Mark & Brian” was good and stuff, but you didn’t address how you and Brian felt hanging with each other. Was it awkward at first or like no time has passed? I have friends that I won’t see for years and then when we get together, it’s like we’ve never been apart. Can you share a little of that with the fam?? Since we already know you have a butt fettish……
Mark – Thanks to your enthusiastic recommendations, my Daughter and I have been binge watching all episodes of GOT the past three weeks!!! Tonight we watch 8/3 – according to you this morning, the best episode of all. I hate that it’s ending!! Thanks for the recommendation!!

Great show, but I’m dying to know what story you were going to tell during the reunion that you’ve never shared before?
Does one even exist? ha ha
