OMG! I just have to say how much I LOVED hearing Mark and Brian back on the air! My gosh, what a treat. There is NOTHING like listening to Mark laughing that hard to Brian’s skits. I was laughing so hard in my car driving back home. I teared up a few times, laughed until I cried, and just loved to hear the magic is still there! Mark and Brian was a staple in my life from the moment I was introduced at 16 yrs old to the last show that aired, I tell my daughter about it all the time and she has listened occasionally to M&L with me and we crack up. Love you Thompson Family and all the joy you have brought and continue to bring! Thank you!!!
Listener Keith who made the trivia game on Kahoot – nice job, but you got one of the answers wrong. For the question: M & B radio production of the Lux radio play the Wizard of Oz who sang the role of Dorothy? The correct answer is Sheena Easton but your correct answer in the quiz is Stevie Nicks.
Ok, not sure if you’ve watched this series already or not but Yellowstone. Stars Kevin Costner, Cole Hauser. Cowboy western goodness. Lynda, you’d like it too – kind of a Falcon Crest feel. Taylor Sheridan directs it so you know it’s great. It’s on Paramont Network /HBO, season 2 starts this June. Enough time for you both to get caught up!
I had to laugh when Mark was talking about Bradley and Amy coming to town, Mark said “I go into the theater and there is Bradley watching movies with Amy” its good to see Bradley was holding true to his wedding vows when he told Amy at their wedding “we were sitting on my big red couch and it had come up about a movie you haven’t seen, I don’t remember which one but you haven’t seen Harry Potter, Star Wars, Jurassic Park and I said it’s a good thing we’re going to be together forever because I got a lot of movies to show you” those vows are very near special to me because a couple of months ago when I got married my husband was struggling coming up with something to say at our wedding so I told him just repeat what Bradley said, he did it and it worked perfectly, so much so that one of my husband’s friends is planning to use those same words as his wedding too.
Hey Lynda I have a show for you to try out. It’s a silly dry Canadian humor show called “Corner Gas” each episode is only 22 minutes. After you watch a few you’ll be hooked. All the characters grow on you and you can’t wait to find out what shenanigans they get into next. It’s on Amazon Prime which I know you have because the RG does all his shopping there. Try it out. Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite was the Beatles’ song on the Sgt. Pepper album that Mark couldn’t think of the title for. The Circle song you played was not very good at all.
Mark said milliliters when he started talking about the bees. It is millimeters. Milliliters only has to do with liquid measurement. / Mark, Westworld is such a great show. You should like it a lot.
Love to all of you. Regarding the reunion show. Can I ask one thing. Can it not be filled with old bits. Yes, we really like them but there are plenty of places people can hear them. We want to hear the two of you tell stories. That’s the gold of the show.

Hey Mr. RG far be it for me to tell the RG anything about music, but I must tell you that Steppenwolf had more than one hit song.
Born To Be Wild, Magic Carpet Ride and Rock Me were all top 10 Billboard hit songs.
Hey Lawdy Mama, Straight Shootin Woman and Ride With Me were all hit songs according to Billboard.
Forgive me for calling you out on this but I just couldn’t help myself!! LOL LOL
