My husband and I needed something light to watch on Christmas Day. Put on the Happytime Murders. The minute one of the main characters said her name was “White, Sandra White” we roared! That’s my name! 😂 We laughed through entire movie. Total puppet porn! Hilarious!
Birthday chicken please. My hubby turned 66 on Jan 8 and I turn 66 on the 27th. We’ve been together since we were 16. 😳
Love you all. Happy New Year!!🎉
THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! I really enjoyed your Elvis list! (*sorry Lynda) Like Katie, I did was born after he left this earth! But, in school, I learned about him during “Music Appreciation” class in Jr. High School (which they probably don’t teach anymore). I learned about Elvis, The Beatles, and even Glenn Miller. But, Elvis stuck with me! I wanted to know more, and back then, all I could find were CD’s, tapes, and still records to find his music. Thank God for the internet! Also, thank God for you Mark! There are no more like you out there! You and Casey Kaseem were the last of your breed! I miss hearing the “history” of the songs, and how they came to be! Thank you for enlightening all of your listeners to “His” greatness! I thought I knew a lot about him, but you still taught me more!
My favorite (and your 2nd on your list), is “If I can Dream”, I still cry every time, as that song has carried me thru some dark times, to my happy times now. Still means a lot!
Thank you! Keep doing “Cool Stories” and these lists…we LOVE them!
Elvis list was very much appreciated. Do not agree with order but respect it. Robert Plant and Paul Simon said “Mystery Train” was the Greatest rock n roll song ever sung and I would strongly agree, 15th ranking way to low should be #1. Lastly should consider bringing back the talented Brian or Gina to co host. Linda although nice lacks talent . Mark you are the best
Regarding the Chinese gentleman…wrecked ’em? Damn near killed ’em!
PS – the Elvis list is AWESOME. I’m 16 years younger than my brother, who was a huge Elvis fan. I grew up listening to Elvis while my friends were listening to the Archies. I pretty sure I got the better end of that deal. Miss the good ol’ days with M&B on KGON in Portland. Keep up the good work.
Once again proving you are the RADIO GOD!!!! All hail!!! 🙌 Well done on your Elvis list! Im in agreement with you on #11 You Don’t Have To Say You Love Me, #8 Crying In The Chapel, #7 Wonder Of You, #6 Memories & #1 American Trilogy of course! That damn thing makes me cry every time & i was weeping with you & Katie Bug! Brilliant! Enjoyed the hell outta all of it! Sorry Lynda. I know this only encourages him to talk about Elvis more! 😁
