Hi, can I get a birthday chicken for my birthday on Sept 2nd? Love you two and your whole family makes my day bright. My Grandson just turned 23 August 9th so feeling pretty old the other 3 one just made teenager status and the twins just hit double digits!! Damn I am old. So please bawk for my 57th. Love you all!
Question unrelated to this podcast, since I haven’t listened to it yet..
I listen to DVD and this podcast via the Stitcher app. That counts for you, right? I always hear of references to iTunes, but never Stitcher. I listen mostly on my android devices.
napoleon did not die in a battle–he died in exile on the Isle of Elba, most think of cancer:
The cause of his death has been debated. Napoleon’s physician, François Carlo Antommarchi, led the autopsy, which found the cause of death to be stomach cancer. Antommarchi did not sign the official report.[192] Napoleon’s father had died of stomach cancer, although this was seemingly unknown at the time of the autopsy.[193] Antommarchi found evidence of a stomach ulcer; this was the most convenient explanation for the British, who wanted to avoid criticism over their care of Napoleon.[187]
Mark’s Most Hated Songs (I like big dicks) is one of the best list ever (fuck me up the ass) because it is based on his real life experience (I like big dicks). It is not conjecture as I could feel Mark reliving his disdain for each song (fuck me up the ass).
And now (I like big dicks) unfortunately (fuck me up the ass) I propose a question of conjecture (I like big dicks). What song or songs could you (any family member can respond) (fuck me up the ass) listen to once an hour every day during a four hour period (I like big dicks) over several weeks without eventually (fuck me up the ass) cringing each time you (I like big dicks) hear it today?
Wow, listening to Danny talk about his Mom being a caregiver for his Grandmom (her Mother); what an amazing sacrifice she’s making, although I bet if you ask her she wouldn’t think she’s sacrificing anything — just doing what a daughter needs to do for her Mother. I’m sort of in that same situation — I’m the primary caregiver for my own elderly mother (although she’s able to live more independently) but I still assist her with cooking meals, cleaning her place, running errands, sorting out medication every week and taking her to appointments. It sometimes means I have to put certain aspects of my own life on hold (and I haven’t had a vacation in about 8 years) but it’s what needs to be done and she did it for me when I was younger so I see it as a debt I’m fine with repaying now. Danny, please tell your Mom to stay strong and I’m sending a big hug her way.
Linda — If I may please get a shout-out from the Birthday Chicken next weekend..? My birthday’s on Sun, 8/6 and I’ll be 53 (and no Mark, I’m not all dried up down there and yes, my titties are real and they’re spectacular).
I’ve been buying from your Amazon link guys! Great list Mark the only song I would add to that list is Minnie Ripperton’s Lovin You. That is 3 minutes and 18 seconds of pure torture.
According to Billboard top 100 We’re an American Band went to #1 on September 29, 1973. Annie’s Song by John Denver was #1 the week of July 27, 1974, and Bad Bad Leroy Brown by Jim Croce was #1 on the this day in 1973. You see Mark, there’s this thing called a computer. It has buttons and it’s real shinny. Lynda can show it to you cause she’s not old. Still lovin you all and both shows.

How can you not have “Having my Baby” as the number one most hated song?

I was surprised Locomotion by Grand Funk Railroad didn’t make it on to Mark’s Most Hated Songs. Or any of that Savage Garden crap.
