Mark, when you made the joke about the “We’re an American Band” story being the same as one told two weeks ago, I cracked up so hard I almost ran off the road. That was comedy gold right there. BTW, will the bell fit in the box of gear you are taking?
I totally shared Lynda’s happiness for the bubblegum music. Smiled the whole time and even got a tear running down my cheek! I was that bubblegum popping (pre)teen!
Hi Mark and Lynda,
I am a fan of the Masked Singer as well. My son and I went to the premier episode for this season and you can see us whenever Nick is talking with the singer in the audience. It was a very long day and night but worth it to see how things operate during the taping. Eric Idle’s mask fell off too soon during the original unmasking so that had to reshoot the unmasking again. You don’t get to keep any prop they give you for the show, not even the face masks.
I am very sad that I won’t see the Saban show this time but I remember how fun the Mark in the Morning show was. We are flying to Hawaii that day. Can’t wait for the book. Enjoy your SoCal stay!
Good morning. I wish I could get your voice book. But you know, I have no money now, I think remember why. I’m not asking you for free. I’m whating for SSI. I lick my fingers when I EAT, not when I SHIT. Lol. Cheers was a great show. I remember all those songs, I loved most of them. Thank you for this show. Have a great trip back out here. I love you all.
Mark,
Your review of the movie on Netflix “I used to be famous” leaves me to question every movie review you’ll ever make again. What a sleeper! And it was so predictable! That’s about 2 hours I’ll never get back in my life!
Hi Mark and Lynda!
I am so excited to be getting a signed book! I am one of the many here in Oregon that has been a loyal listener from the day you guys started up on KGON back in the day. I’m also one of those many folks who had my life tuned upside down by Cancer. My first love “Susie” got cervical cancer at age 27, happens all the time so treat it and it will go away right? Wrong!! We were not as lucky as most, a year after treatment and thinking we were in the clear, it came back and landed in both lungs. She passed at age 28 leaving me with our 4 year old son. I am 58 now, our son (now 32) turned out wonderful, graduated from college and recently got married. When I lost Susie, I went to a very dark place living through that nightmare and I really didn’t care if I lived or died. Your show was truly a life saver for me, it made me learn how to smile and laugh again and that gradually brought me back to life. I just want to thank you for this and let you know how profoundly your show changed my life, and most likely saved it. Good luck at the live show, wish we could make it and FUCK Cancer!
Mark, in talking about your birthday and that you donβt care about it, you said you think of your mom on that day. I can relate. I miss my mom more on my birthday than I do her’s because she loved to celebrate that day. I was happy to hear I’m not alone in that.
I CAN NOT wait until the Saban show. I will be making my own list of who I think may be there. I have no doubt it’s going to be a great time.
