Hello Mark and Lynda, its been months…maybe even a couple of years since I have listen to your podcast. I was a fan of the Mark and Brain show when it was on the air, here in California. I am in northern California, Paradise. And I of coarse started listening to Mark’s podcast and Lynda joined in on the podcast. She is a gem Mark…. Thank you both for your entertainment. God Bless you both.
Thank you for the Petty frenzy.
He was the best.
He’ll be missed by millions of fans, young and old. My husband and I have been to many of his shows (with the Heartbreakers, and Mudcrutch), including 3 this year, and the range of age of fans is like no other. Parents raising their kids on his music was apparent.
Hi Kids,
I think I am an episode late for this comment, but just so you know…I wouldn’t mind at all if there are ads during your podcast! (Didn’t you used to do them on the first run)? I listen to lots of podcasts and i never mind hearing the ads. I can skip them or listen and I’ve actually heard about many cool and/or unusual items and/or services that I’ve checked out.
If it’s listen to ads or not listen to you at all, I vote for the ads.
Love from Oregon wine country,
Gayle
I completely understand your response and your family’s response to The Sound’s invitation to return for a final Mark in the Morning. I get it. They fired you, after approaching you to come to the station in the first place, and I hated that as much as anyone. But to me, you would not be doing it for The Sound. What do they have to gain at this point? You’d be doing it for Andy, for Gina, for Katie, for Mikie, for Sal, for Sam, for Grae, for Todd, and for the useless replaceable listeners! It would mean so much to all of us. Just my two cents.

This video of him and his friend Garry Shandling just talking, is so, so good.
