Another way to know that we’re all getting old is when athletes and entertainers that we grew up listening to or watching start getting inducted into Hall of Fame’s. Congrats Mark! It would’ve been really cool to have heard your commentary on the other inductees. I was wondering how many of them that you knew personally
CONGRATULATIONS Mark and Brian! Thank you Mark and Brian! My mornings have never been the same without you since August 1987! You are good humans! Thanks for sharing your family with all of the Mark and Brian family of listeners. Stay safe!
So great to hear this and to hear both of you again. Thank you for all the hilarious radio during those long commutes on the LA Freeways. Miss you both.
So, I was an intern at KLOS working on the very morning that M & B started. It was awkward and amazing. Gotta be honest, the calls that came were not kind. I am so proud to be a part of the beginning of their amazing career. I had the honor of being a part of their show twice. What a blessing.
Congratulations Mark & Brian!! You both are without a doubt more than deserving to be inducted in the Radio Hall of Fame. Thank you for your huge contribution to morning radio. Thank you for being a big part of my life. You both have and will always be my heroes.
I miss you soooooo much! I called soooo many times and had my class do a “Ten reasons why my teacher should go to Rod Stewart,” to cheering for UCLA tix, to going in the studio to show you my before and after boob job!!! LOL! We also shared 9.11 together 🙁 You deserve it more than anyone!!!!
RHOF Bitches…I can think of no better way to announce your induction. You are so missed in LA and I wish you all the best. Thank you for the laughs, the tears and the great moments we were able to share with all.
You’re simply the best… Better than all the rest. I still quote miniature theatre jokes you guys told on air. I loved every segment on the show. I could say that I miss you on the airwaves, but I’d rather say that I was lucky enough to be there to listen to both of you. The gutteral laughter that both of you pulled out of each other was uplifting. Hootie hoo!
I wasn’t even 10 min into the broadcast and I was tearing up! Having listened to M&B since 1992 when I first moved to Portland, I feel like a distant member of the family. Mark and Brian and the entire family made it easy to feel like we were part of their lives as much as they were ours. It’s an honor to listen to these guys and to have listened to them be immortalized in there rightful places in the Radio Hall of Fame. Congratulations to you both!
Thank you so much for your show. I loved listening to you guys everyday until the show went off the air. You brought laughter to my life on days that were not so happy. You made my life better. Thank you so very much from the bottom of my heart for everything you two did for me. Congratulations you two. This was well deserved.
