I’m a little behind & just listed to Friday’s show. Lynda, I can ABSOLUTELY confirm that you should never, ever, put pasta or rice down the garbage disposal. I am on the board of my condo’s HOA, & a few years ago we had a tenant who put pasta & rice down their garbage disposal & it clogged up the drain out to the sewer so much that all the water leaving the building couldn’t make it past the clog, & it backed up into the unit below him, coming up through the kitchen sink, & causing tens of thousands of dollars in damages to that unit. The clog was so thick that the plumber had to use an industrial bit to clear it.
Also, I just submitted my vote to get M&M in the Radio HOF!!!
Lynda – pickle juice, hot mustard, bananas. It’s all the same. They don’t cure your leg cramps. There is no way you can take those ingredients and be cured in seconds. What you are doing is fooling the mind to take the focus off the cramp and relaxing the muscle (kind of what the one listener said about relaxation). According to one study: “the way to reverse the cramp is by tasting something incredibly salty or incredibly spicy. We sort of knew this already but the mechanism is all neural based as there is not enough time for the body to absorb whatever you are taking. The taste alone causes a “motor neuron reflex” which cause the cramp to release in about 20 seconds.
I am truly such a huge fan, and I absolutely do know that I am an SRL and you are the RG. That being said, can you please explain to me why in the actual fuck you still say “We are behind, need to rush, can’t get to this today” in every episode of your PODCAST, when you are under absolutely no time constraints or network hard breaks.
Your tribute to Hal Blaine was brilliant, and I so would have enjoyed a few more moments with each song, as well as maybe some thoughts on why bands (actual bands, like The Beach Boys, Mamas and Poppas) would use a session band when they have a drummer…..anyway, look around you…. You have nothing but time. Take a deeeeeeeppppp breath and slow down. Please. You have worked hard to get to this point in your career, take the time to enjoy what you are doing.
Hey Lynda, when Mark goes to Chicago for this RHOF ceremony how will you prepare yourself for a whole weekend of Mark talking radio with his fellow jocks?
Re: Help for Linda with her leg cramps. Someone recommended electrolytes to prevent leg cramps. I have tried this suggestion and it has helped significantly. Among other beverages, Smart Water has electrolytes. Smart Water, hmmm, might help Mark also! Kidding, love you Mark. I understand you can overdo electrolytes, so you might want to check with your doctor first.
Hey m&l family just listened to Friday’s show great job again RG but I feel like I need to remind you look at your calendar this is March spring training boys of Summer baseball hotdogs apple pie only three people care about football this time of year. you ,farmer, and some guy in Cleveland. You need to make a call to Cody Decker seems he’s destined to spend another year at triple a Reno Aces no chance of making the Diamondbacks even though they got rid of Goldschmidt. Cody’s year 2018 (9 home runs,27 RBIs 63 games spent the second half of the year on injured reserve Diamondbacks just hid him there they didn’t want to send him to double a. When I told Cody last year that he had become a du-rag collector and a bat collector he promptly blocked me from Instagram didn’t realize I followed his career from day one. Love you both especially you Skeeter. Pat
Hi Lynda
About having leg cramps. I get them often and have tried mustard and it really works but I know you don’t like it. Try drinking pickle juice when you get these cramps about half of a glass and it works also to ease the cramp
I enjoyed your retrospective on Hal Blaine, I wasn’t that familiar with who he was but listening to all the songs he was involved in, I realized I’ve been listening to him for years! Thoroughly enjoyed the music, as well as all you guys do! I listen to the archived Mark & Brian episodes all the time and brings back great memories!

Hey I don’t know if this is important for the RHoF thing, but y’all might want to update Mark’s LinkedIn profile with M&B history.
Good luck! You have my vote!
Love you guys!
