Greetings to the Radio God and his Queen ;). Can’t tell you how good it is to hear everyone together again on this particular episode and uncensored! 😉. Not taking anything away from from the current shows everyone’s doing now, but man…listening to this reminds me just how good we had it for the “Mark In The Morning” show. Mark was right when he said that the show was perfect, and it was. I was lucky enough to attend the various events including the 1st meet and greet, the Saban theater concert, and Mark’s Birthday at Disneyland. I’m more than grateful that you guys are doing the podcast, but you’ll never know how much I appreciated the “MITM” show because I was going through such a tough time in my life during that period, and you along with Gina, Jackie Delgado, Mikey, Danny, Katie, Josh, etc were there for me and I can’t thank you enough. Much love as always…
So good to hear gina’s laugh again. Mark brings out the best in her. Like Danny, I always enjoy the technical difficulties, but my favorite was listening to mark when he was in studio at the sound. Every time he’d sound so wired like he had 3 pots of really strong coffee and some speed.
Luv you both; podcast wasn’t the same for me without Danny adding his two-cents — hope he’s back next week. Fun hearing Gina and Mark again like they were on The Sound and also Katie and Mikey joining in at the end.
Another piece of trivia on Junior Walker’s solo on Urgent. It’s actually a patch work of a bunch of clips of different passes on the solo. Junior himself liked it so much that in a solo record of his where he covered Urgent he played that version of the solo.

Great episode! So good to hear Gina and Mark chatting again as well as the comradery between Mark and the staff at the Sound.
Any chance I could get a Birthday Chicken from Ms. Lynda on the next episode? Birthday is 6/21.

Here’s a tweet about the shooting in DC, a guy at the baseball practice. He was so upset he forgot how to swear:
“This is a HECK of a way to start a FUCKING morning!”
