Hi Mark and Wonderful Lynda,
I totally freaked out when you mentioned Unacknowledged. I love the alien topic and I wouldn’t think it would get so much respect from Mark. He is right though, it is one of the most no-crazy documentaries made. I was able to meet Dr. Greer in May at the Contact in the Desert conference in Joshua Tree. Lynda, Greer is very smart, very tall, and strangely very handsome. He mentioned how his ER glove size in pretty large and it made me think he might have another large member, hahaha. Then, on DVDFS when Katie said she liked this stuff I was so happy. We could start the weird-girls-that-like-aliens club lol. Anyway, much love from La Quinta

You are going to have to dust off the old cobwebs to be able to answer this question. I was listening to the old “cool stories in music” and was listening to “double trouble” with O’Sullivan and Carmen. You said Carmen was a self taught guitarist and then started playing a Lindsey Buckingham song, I can’t believe many people would understand why you would play a Fleetwood Mac song? Am I to assume that because Lindsay was self-taught that you did that? If so, that was a real stretch. The only reason that I knew that is because he is my uncle. If that was not the reason, please tell me why?

How can Mungo Jerry’s “In the Summertime” not be in the top 10 songs. Every time I hear it I get a large smile on my face and sing along. Plus those big old pork chop sideburns has to qualify that song.

Hi guys. I have been a listener since day one and even before (M&B show). I don’t seem to recall how Lynda got the nickname of Skeeter. Can you please refresh my memory? I saw on American Pickers a collection of Skeeter Davis stuff they found and was wondering if somehow the nickname is from her. Seems she was a famous country artist. Thanks.

Oh, wait–one more: there’s a black comedian in Portland, moved there from Chicago. This is what his opening line was–
“Yeah, you know that Portland’s been having some problems lately, but the first time I moved here I compared Portland and Chicago. In Chicago you go “Oh My God! That’s a Crypt! Oh My God! That guy’s gonna shoot that guy! Gotta run gotta run! And I was in Portland two days and I heard myself say–THE BLUEBERRIES ARE IN SEASON!”

OMG– wanna get a glimpse into Deadpool 2? We saw Logan (yeah, sad & good) and before anything happened, the screen filled with the Deadpool 2 trailer. Go to YouTube, Official Deadpool 2 Trailer 2018 Logan movie. Makes me want ice cream! HA! ENJOY!

One more: My dad and his band wrote “Wipe Out” in high school and sold it to a record company for around $100. No mailbox money for us. ha ha…. He had a cassette tape he used to play of him playing the lead on his sax. His friend best friend is the one who created a version of that drum beat.

Download “WAZE” for directions. It will tell you exactly how long it will take and tell you what time you’ll be there. Sometimes you end up on some odd streets through neighborhoods but it’s pretty accurate to the minute.
