Hi Lynda and Mark,
Hope you got your Oscar bingo cards in the mail. My only comment from the past shows, Isn’t there a lock on the gym bathroom door?
Good luck Lynda on Sunday!
I was sitting at 615 am working and turned on your 3/18 show and when Mark called that critical fan a “pig fucker” and then carried on with the “Fucker of all Pigs” I laughed so loud, I scared my dogs awake (I work from home). Thank you for the entertainment. Love you both, you keep me laughing..
OMG! Not only are you the RG but your psychic too! Average White Band “Pick Up The Pieces” was the song I was listening to right before I clicked on the podcast & i had NO idea I’d be blessed to hear a Cool Stories In Music including that very song!
We may be stupid replaceable listeners but we are psychotically connected to you forever! Haha! Love you guys!
If I’m not mistaken I’m sure I’ll get corrected like RG does, but I believe the Asian girl band that’s in Kill Bill vol1 in the restaurant scene was covering that song before the carnage started. Great job on the Cool Story RG love what Huey Lewis did to pay homage to that song.
Hey RG,
1st: welcome back you two. Huge grats on the grandbabies. Mine turns 18 on Columbus Day. Have every episode of the Adventures episodes and listened to M&B since Day 2. As Loverboy would sing “Lovin Every Minute of It”.
2nd: apologies for jr’s comments on your Boston selection. He’s a data research analyst, so facts are all he knows. Boston rocks no matter what.
3rd: any chance you can post a couple of pics of your spread on this site? Love to see the home and lake.
Love ya both,
Mark Sr.
The wizard of OZ. Scared the crap out of me when the flying monkeys came out. If we had an army of monkeys with waist coats and fez
No one would Fuck with us.
I was 5 yr old. And I crawled under the old singer sowing machine the kind your grandma used. I’ll never forget that
Long time listener. From the beginning of M and B. The first time I heard you in KLOS. Driving from San Diego to Palm Springs I was your life time listener. Thanks for all the years.
Most cities it’s 7am that work can begin ie lawn mowers, construction, leaf blowers. Some cities it’s 8 on Sundays. Im one of those workers and at 7am many times you can hear the chorus of lawn mowers fire up in SoCal because they have been waiting to start.
