First off, sorry. Glad you brought Jimmy Wayne back. You interviewed him on The Mark and Brian Show, which is why I know him and bought the CD with Sara Smiles on it after you interviewed him. Again, sorry but you met the guy before.
You were not a fan of Bennie And The Jets or the Yellow Brick Road album by Elton? Just curious P.S. Lynda & Mark doing ball games that long ago was a cute & sweet story. #touching
Thank you both for once again a fantastic show! I look forward to hearing a new episode every Friday, it eases my crazy Ca commute (I know you don’t miss that).
Been a long time listener, my wife actually spoke with you back in the day about doing a Strip for Skylord (but she backed out,😂 typical). You and Brian did end up hooking her up with some Eagles tix though.
Your stories about Red and Walker make me smile. As we lost our Izzy, this year.
Always love hearing your stories about artists, today’s story about Jimmy Wayne made me smile. As soon as you began, I remember reading his book, Walk to Beautiful. His story is amazing and brings such needed attention to the foster care system (and the affected children). Thank you for giving it some light. As a school counselor with students who are in foster care , the more people become aware of the issues, hopefully these kiddos won’t get lost in the system.
Sorry for rambling, just wanted to let you both know how much your appreciated by this guy out in Ca.
Peace –
Oh God Lynda, my apologies! My hubby is Randall Troy. He actually goes by Randy. Randall annoys the crap out of him, so I did it as a joke not realizing what a PITA (pain in the ass) that would be for you to have to say! Please don’t hate me! LOL
