    Dear RG,

If you can, please play the Polar Express version you had put together back in the Mark and Brain days, the one with different actors telling the story. It helps bring in the Christmas spirit for me. Btw, anymore new music from Eleni? I love her singing voice! Jamming to her song “Freaky Santa”

    Hey RG
Here is a suggestion for you to put on your to do list in 2026.
The Big Show (John Boy & Billy) are ending Dec. 31. A RG interview with them would be awesome!
Happy Holidays to you and your family!!

Merry Christmas Mark! To you and your family! Thanks for another great year of podcasting. Looking forward for all the holiday gags and stories for the final podcast of the year. Just hoping you’ll also make time for Linda Bennett’s “Old Fashioned Christmas.” Still one of my favorite things I listen to every year. Thanks again!

Hey Mark, if you haven’t heard the song “Santa Came Down My Chimney” from the 1950’s you should. Apparently it was banned back then. It came up on YouTube and I thought it might fit in well with your Christmas show. Anyway lovin…you, and Merry Christmas!

Mrk Thompson, of course I love you my friend. Always will. I have a question for you, and don’t be mad. But what if someone told you that Mark and Brian were the Rembrandts of Talk radio…In my opinion you kinda were, because the Rembrandts were known for a couple pop hits but they were so much more and they still hold up to this day as perhaps one of the greatest musicians to ever perform together…

Hi Mark. I don’t know if you’ve ever done a Cool Stories about Hamilton, Joe Frank & Reynolds but their story is pretty interesting. I was looking up the song “Fallin’ In Love” and wanted to know what female was singing on it and found out it was Helen Reddy. Just thought it might be an interesting one to do if you have not already. Hope you are enjoying those gorgeous grandbabies! We want to hear all about it!

      Agree 100%!!
Eleni, you are the SHIZZLE girl!! I’m certain you can get to the next level if you really wanted, but I do love that you and Matt are focused on that beautiful family first. Keep up the great work and thanks for keeping this old geezer father in law of yours straight with his podcast.
      Merry Christmas!

I’m listing to the show right now and the part about taking stuff from hotels was mentioned and I forgot to comment on that until now! Anyway as a kid my Dad traveled a lot and for the longest time I thought we were living in a Travelodge. We had glasses, towels and even toilet paper from where he stayed. Still makes me smile when I think about it…that was my dad!

Ok, if anything else comes to mind as I listen to today’s show, I’ll let you know.

    Lovin…you.

I am sure you are aware, but I just saw the trailer of the new Elvis movie by Baz Luhrmann.
Looks good, sounds great! Just thought of you when I saw the trailer!

Hey Marc, just listening to episode 69, and I’m sure somebody has already posted this, but I didn’t have time to read through all the comments, but the lady who says I’ll have what she’s having is actually Rob Reiner‘s mother, who directed when Harry Met Sally.

    Hey Mark,

This is going to be long so I apologize. My name is Kris and I am 36 years old. I recently found out about the new show and had to write in. I’ve been a listener literally since the womb. Born into the universe of Mark and Brian in 1989, I have been a dedicated listener ever since. I listened to you through my earliest memories, the towers falling, the awkward teenage years and my first car, college… and the day I finally moved away to San Francisco for grad school just happened to be your last show on KLOS. You are the soundtrack to my life and I want to say thank you for being you, and to your wonderful family who continues to amaze. The last 5 years has been quite a struggle, but I always had the old archived recordings to get me through. And in a very real sense, I might not be here today if it weren’t for people like you. Anyways, I found a way forward, moved back with family, and am now a research scientist at San Diego State University. And wouldn’t you know it, I found your new show waiting for me again. Thank you so much! If you ever want to talk science, I’ve been involved in some crazy studies over the years, haha.

    Take Care!

    Kris
