Good day. I was doing show prep for my own radio program, and look what popped up as something of interest on this day in 1989:
1989 – David Cassidy
Two DJ’s on Los Angeles station KLOS asked ‘what ever happened to David Cassidy’ The singer called the station up and the presenters invited him onto the show. David played three songs live on air and was subsequently signed by a new record label.
Today would have been David Cassidy’s 71’s birthday.
Hello there, I have listened to you since I was 7 years old with your morning show on blast while on job sites with my dad in the summers. I have friends who were fans similar to myself. During the election some of them stopped listening because their views differed from yours. Even though my views differ in ways, I don’t understand how people cannot agree to disagree anymore. What has happened that if someone disagrees, they have to shout you out of existence. I don’t get that and never will. I will always be a listening fan. Love you both. We have to all find a way to get back to understanding one another. I guess I am a rare breed who accepts people for who they are. I am willing to listen, and even change my views (crazy statement I know). Any-who, was wondering if I can get your take on this cancel culture. I see it eating itself alive. I hope it does. Because there is no chance for Americans to coexist if everyone is shouted out to oblivion.
Hi Mark and Lynda,
Mark mentioned that he’s a fan of Jason Bateman. Has he listened to the podcast Jason does with Will Arnett and Sean Hayes called Smartless? It’s a great podcast, the 3 of them are friends so they have great chemistry. They bring on celeb guests to interview and it’s just a fun listen! The perfect backup when I’m out of M&L podcasts!
Love you guys, congrats on the grand babies! 💙💕

Long time listener to M&B and M&L.
You will be doing EVERY FAN a disservice if you do not post before and after photos of your haircuts. This pandemic is a one-time thing! In 40 years you’ll both be gone, but we will still remember the Great Pandemic and what Mark and Lynda’s hair looked like!
Mrs Linda and RG…listening to today’s “I am street” podcast I have to say that I love hearing Walker bark in the background. I know you want a seamless show…but for the love of big racks and round butts…it’s so much better when the wheels come off. I giggle and laugh every time I hear Walker. I’ve been listening to you since 1994 and one of the reasons I’ve always loved the M&B show was how you guys talked about your dogs. Like everyone else the day I heard Red passed was a sad day for me too. And if you get complaints about the dog…well they can eat 2 bags of dicks. Love the show and love you guys.

P.S. Fuck you and Brian for the April fools joke with turning down the volume. One of the best April Fools pranks ever.
