Just finished 2/20/26 show and loved the part of Hellen Hunt. It brought me back to the 2015 year when you talked about Jim Kelly and his wide receiver 98. When he said 98 and 12 equal 6. I gave that podcast to my teacher friend and she loved it

I watched the Morgan Freeman The Magic of Belle Island. It was s heart-warming movie. As it was coming on, I noticed it was s Rob Reiner film. No wonder it was heart-warming. Thank you for the recommendation.

Hey Mark, long-time listener here. Just finished listening to your best cover songs numbers 5 to 1, great list. Here’s one that I would add. Willie Nelson featuring his son Lukas Nelson covering Pearl Jam’s “Just Breathe”. Both versions are excellent.

Last Friday’s show you played the airplane sound and you said that you loved it.
I love that sound because it’s the same sound on the movie, Airplane!
When you play it I chuckle. Thinking of Lloyd Bridges line, “I picked the wrong time to stop…”

Hey Mark! Bongo here! I heard you mention wanting to get a Bidet. I got one last year and itâs life changing! I travel around the world with a Rock Band and finding one on tour definitely makes my day. When anyone asks me what I miss about home while touring without hesitation I say, my wife, my dogs and my Bidet! Wants you go Bidet you never go Bidack! Your welcome!

Suck my butt. Helen Hunt and Miss Eleanor didn’t happen. Goggle says that in her Oscar acceptance speech, Ms. Hunt thanked teachers Lurene Tuttle, Gordon Hunt, Larry Moss, and Gary Austinâbut did not mention an “Eleanor”.
Probably just a feel-good (and it does, doesn’t it?) story or urban legend.

Oh, and I used to love Adam Ant. They were on frequent rotation at KROQ (listened after M&B of course). Even paid money to see him at The Greek Theatre back in the 80âs

Love the show! I just finished today show and got to say that you are very blessed by having a Greek daughter-in-law and the family! I am not greek. However, I am dating a Greek woman and she is life-changing!
All the traditions that are real, and the ones they make up, are all excuses to get family together and enjoy life.
I got to tell you too, if these Greek women are hot! My girl is also a nurse! Yes. A Greek nurse! And while she is younger than me, at 51, and I am 63, she can make me do things no blue pill could ever make me do! I’ll just leave it at that. Congratulations on being a part of the Greek world and enjoy the love of life and family they provide!
