And apparentlyā¦ also my birthday. š May 27th, 65 years old. Iāve been listening to your voice since the 80s, which means between the two of us, weāve survived big hair, cassette tapes, dial-up internet, and whatever is happening in the world now. š
Iāve dealt with anxiety over the years, and oddly enough, one of my calming places has been turning on your shows. Your voice has been background noise through a whole lot of lifeā¦ good days, hard days, and days when I probably shouldāve been doing something more productive. I have laughed till it hurts & cried to where I couldnāt see where I was driving. Which I did so much of over the last few years taking care of my daughter-in-law with stage 4 Breast Cancer Iād drive from Riverside County to Lake Havasu city your voice on the air.
I love you, love your family, and love the relationships youāve shared with listeners over the years. After this long, youāre basically part of the routineā¦ like coffee, Tylenol, and wondering why I walked into a room. š

Hey RG, SRL Les here, listener #735. Long time, first time. Been listening since your first show at KLOS, though I was upset that you guys took Rita off the air, but then again, I was also upset when Frazier Smith left. Also want to thank you for helping to make my morning commute from Riverside to UCLA every day for 10 years a lot easier! Sorry, I digress….turned the big 7-0 on May 20th and am hoping for a little 3 Stooges birthday song, but at this point, will take whatever I can get!

Mark ……Tom Franklin here. I know it’s 2 weeks late… But we’re still in the month of May and my sister Postal Carrier Maggie Franklin still needs a Birthday wish from the Radio God. I’m usually on top of it but this year I forgot. She is now 60 and still acting like she is 30. Don’t be nice about what you may say. Still Loving You and great to hear Lynda 2 weeks in a row.
