Use this page to say hey, ask a question (which probably won’t get answered), or just to kiss the RG’s ass.

Mark this is Debbie Benson, yes, THAT Debbie Benson who hates “I Will Always Love You” by Whitney Houston. I say that loud and clear my friend even though ever since your Podcast I have become a pariah in my own neighborhood. I can’t go to my local supermarket or CVS because everyone points at me and says “she’s the one who hates Whitney Houston!” My friends and family want nothing to do with me. My life is over I will have to move to Florida where no one listens to your Podcast.

Hey Mark – listener 33 here, I want to say October of 87. Any how, you used to have a recording of Matt on drums and Katie (I think) singing. I think the song title is “oh baby baby”. Do you still have the recording? Do you mind playing it?

Great show this week but I do have a question for you. When you went to Jiffy Lube, did you have your fire coat on? I only ask because you said “And I observed them quietly and from afar.” 🤣

Yeah, that Christmas story that your family performed still gives me a chuckle when I see or read afar.

I will go deeper than Debbie Benson did, not only is “I will always love you” a grossly overplayed and hyped song, but Whitney Houston was nothing special and he take on the song is boring as hell.

    Hi Mark,
Love the podcast, miss Lynda I have both your hardback book with bookmark and the audio version. I’ll always be able to listen to you.
Very disappointed with you. HOW COULD YOU HIGHTLIGHT SLY STONE OVER BRIAN WILSON!!!!!
Brian was a music genius. Paul McCartney holds Brian as an inspiration and music genius. The Beach Boys music is Super Fantastic. I have been listening from the beginning. I was in 4th grade when they started and I have all their albums/CD’s. This is my personal opinion.
Just another Stupid Replaceable Listener-I bought the SRL candle.

    Hi RG

Just listened to the June 13th pod cast One thing you talked about was how often do you wash your sheets. You said anything more than a week was disgusting. Correct me if I am wrong but didn’t you say that when you moved around you never changed your sheets you just though your mattress with the sheets still on in the back of the moving truck and set up your bed in your new apt never washing them

Say hey to Lynda your sheet washer

Hey Mark, just finished listening to your book. Seems like yesterday when you and Brian started with Rita running the board and Chuck doing the news. I remember that Scott didn’t like the name you gave him “The Sky Lord” he thought that you were putting him down. When Chuck left, the sexy sounding Kelli Gates stepped in not missing a beat and we can’t forget Frank Sontag. I miss those days you and Brian made my mornings enjoyable. Thanks for the memories

Hi Mark, Congrats to both you and Rocket Bob for nailing down the interview with Noah Wylie! I know you want to talk with him about “The Pitt”, but he’s also got something else going on that you may want to touch on. From 2004 to 2008, he starred in a series of television movies about “The Librarian”. They were “The Librarian and the Spear of Destiny”, “The Librarian and King Solomon’s Mines” and “The Librarian and the Judas Chalice”. Noah played the title role. Six years after the last of those movies, Dean Devlin was able to bring the concept back with a series for TNT called “The Librarians”. Noah reprised his role in that series, and was in most of the episodes. He also produced 36 episodes, wrote 2 and directed 5. That show ended in 2018. A few weeks ago, TNT debutted “The Librarians: The Next Chapter”. Noah is once again credited as a producer. There has been no word on if he will make any appearances, but he obviously is still fond of the franchise, or he wouldn’t have stepped in again after so long to be a producer. It might be nice to discuss that franchise with him and what it was like to work with Bob Newhart. Newhart also starred in all three tv movies and the first two episodes of “The Librarians”. Just thought you’d like to know. As always, thank you for all you do!

Hey there, first time, long time day 1 listener sir. Love all your shows throughout your career, you keep me smiling every week.
My question is? You play an instrumental during comments as background music that sounds like it comes from a western movie, I thought Open Range but it’s not. On the 6/13 show it starts at 59:54 into the show
Can you please let me know what that song is from?
    Thanks for everything, BGH
