Hi Lynda and Mark,
I’ve heard you share stories of crazy in Florida on several shows now. Have you ever watched
“It’s Only Florida, Man?”
On HBO/MAX.
I think it could be right up your alley.
Sorry, if someone already mentioned it.
The REAL ID is NOT a requirement, unless you want you and your entire family to be watched every move y’all make, from the airport to the restaurants to the gas stations to the malls. Y’all can opt out of the REAL ID by using your passport to travel. Yes, it is a bit less convenient but it feels better than having a permanent government surveillance colonoscopy.
For us California SRLs, who need to exchange your REAL ID, you can downgrade it to a regular license. I went to the DMV and did it quickly. It never felt so good to remove this Government BUTTPLUG from my ass!!
Wow, paranoid much? Sorry to say, there is no tracking device on the real ID. The new ID has to do with citizenship/immigration status (because a shocking amount of US citizens still do not have passports).
Hey Mark, a couple of months ago you shared an essay by a man that lost his dog. It was very moving. A friend recently lost his dog. I would like to be able to share it with him. Could you remind me which episode that was?
You Are the Best!
Mark you are hilarious…after giving Travolta a hard time about Idina Menzel, you pronounced it with a long “I” sound.
It’s actually more of a short A sound “uh-dee-nuh”
Keep it up and keep us laughing.
xoxo, Kathy Beck
Never new you had a friend named Jimbo It was a great interview What I thought was funny was when he said that he’s know Howard Stern and not Mark and Brian and I you just went with it Anyway radio people guests are the best Have a great weekend
Hey OLD GUY! I have been RE-Re-re-listening to the old M&B shows from the archives and today I heard the Robbie Benson episode with Frank and their big date! I laughed and smiled the entire show as it took me back to the original air date. I was wondering though, do you keep in touch with Frankie or have you two just lost touch over the years? I would love to hear him on your show some time.
Keep up the good work and *see you bastards later!*
Hello RG, I’ve been a long time listener since 1987. So happy that I get to hear your familiar voice every week.Pease get Christian Hand for your show and have him do a song breakdown.
Lovin you …
I always love old radio dogs catching up! The clip made it all even better. Question, a few months ago you shared a letter, or something similar, about a dog passing. I would like to share it with a grieving friend. It was so spot on. If you can tell me what show I will look it up. Your heart is huge. Thank you for how you ended the show. Yes, I might be an emotional guy and teared up while driving.
RG!!! Again a compelling interview with a couple of old radio dogs!!!! Loved every second of it & I’ll be here for every single one you do!!!!
And i believe i may have been the person you quoted as saying “We need to do better.” All these years I’ve loved you Mark & i didn’t realize how much alike we are. Woah! That was a scary thing to say! Seriously though, I like you help the baby birds & the elderly & anyone or anything else i can. Its just the right thing to do & its also how we do better! Thank you for bringing this to light! Im sure there are many more who do the same! I know this comment is long & i don’t need any kudos for doing or saying the “right” thing so if you don’t read this live I’m perfectly happy with that. Just wanted to say Thank You! 💜💜💜
Mark,
Been a srl since the very first KLOS days. Really enjoying your latest podcast!
Every time you play that “this is bullshit” drop I crack up.
What is that from? I must have that for my ringtone for when work calls.
Keep doing what you do!
Mark, how did you feel after the Salt Lake City 1/2 Marathon- haha! I saved the episode with Tyler’s interview because it was over 2 hours and I planned to finish the race in just over 2 hours – my daughter and I pulled it off! Since I couldn’t talk after the first few miles I was so grateful to have you and Tyler to listen to while I ran 13.1 miles through the city and hillsides of Salt Lake on a beautiful day! Thanks for your entertainment that day and all the decades of entertainment over the years!
