Some anal leakage? I will never forget one morning with Mark and Brian a new potato chip had just come out and you were so excited. The ingredients on the bag were read…made with Olestra…eat all you want. Side effects of this new food chemical was some anal leakage. You guys did this bit so well I will never forget it. I don’t eat chips so much anymore……….thanks
Mark, thanks so much for the proper salute to Tommy Lasorda. Theres nothing like hearing Toddâs tributes and this definitely called for a Todd reflection. From a diehard Dodger fanđ§˘âžď¸

Listening to Fridayâs podcast and heard a request for doggie chew ideas. Last year, Sadie, our Retriever/Lab mix puppy, was going through treats and chews like nothing. So we researched and found you can buy the rubber Kong brand chew toys with a treat pocket, and mash some banana, dog friendly peanut butter, or pumpkin purĂŠe and stuff the toy. THEN, freeze it! Itâs a low cost, long lasting treat that will keep your puppy busy and healthy. We keep a few of these filled Kongs in the freezer ready to go when she needs to be kept busy or we are leaving the house for longer than usual. Thank you both for doing what you do. Iâm a long time listener of M&B, M in the Morn, and your podcast. And I canât tell you enough how great it is to hear your show every week. Have a great weekend!
OK, on today’s podcast, you were talking about chewy things for Walker. My pup is now 2 and what worked for me were N-bone, the large ones. I did not like the small ones, because I did not like how small they were.

Hey guys! I just wanted to say how much I appreciate this show and both of you for keeping it up throughout the pandemic. It’s provided a sense of normalcy and something to look forward to during a time when both of those things are majorly lacking. I also want to thank you for keeping us up to speed on what’s happening in the Sex Bot industry. Every time I start to wonder about the state of the Sex Bot union, we get an update.
If you havenât watched âThe History of Swear Wordsâ on Netflix yet youâre missing out. Nick Cage narrates and itâs quite entertaining. One of the episodes is about the word âbitchâ and a song came up from a woman named Lucille Bogan who was a blues singer in the 30s and 40s. I wonât tell you what she sang about… youâll have to listen for yourself. Enjoy!
Mark, with regards to Disney World, I believe the park you would have went to a few years back was their Animal Kingdom. Also, was that not the same visit where Katie asked a stranger to watch her stuff cause she had to take a shit….thinking it was you she was talking too…to fucking funny.. đ
During the Christmas break, since there were no shows, I went back and listen to the Thomson Family Christman podcasts. I laughed when listening to the one when Luna came for the 1st time…and Lynda announcing that your next one would not be a puppy…how did that work out for you? đ
You two make the world a better place. Thank you for all the laughs, especially in a time when we all need it! <3
And Lynda, I apologize, but I got the best Christmas present ever this year….looks like I'm going to be a grandma this year! :). With any luck you will get the same news Christmas 2021, if not before… <3
Hi Mark and Lynda
Awhile back you said you got a good card shuffler, we are very confused and would appreciate any advice you can give us on choosing one.
Thank you Frank and Terri
Hi M&L,
Over the holidays I read an article about how different countries celebrate Christmas and learned about a tradition in Spain where children âfeedâ treats to a log with a smiley face and Santa hat, then on Christmas, beat it with sticks until it âpoopsâ out presents. They even sing a song that, roughly translated, goes, âPoop, log!/If you donât poop well Iâll hit you with my stick!â Hence the log is called Caga tiĂł (âKa-ka tee-ohâ) or “Poop Log.â The Poop Log might be related to the âPooper,â who is another traditional figure that can be seen in Spanish nativity scenes with his pants down taking a dump behind the baby Jesus. Iâm speculating but perhaps this is the origin of the term âHoly shit!â When I read about this, I immediately thought of Mark. It seems the Poop Log is a distant cousin to the Yule Log, which of course, when dropped, signals the start of the Christmas season for all Mark and Brian listeners. There might also be another Itty Bitty Theater here about nativity scenes, one where Amy attempts a Barcelona accent. In any case, if you find that hauling your Christmas tree down from the attic to be too cumbersome again next year and would like to adopt a Poop Log instead, you can find lots of Caga Tio info online including a version of the song by Norah Jones. Thanks for all you do and continue to stay safe!
Hi Mark and Lynda,
I was thinking of Dodgers Legend Tommy Lasorda after his passing. I am not sure if my memory is correct, but I was thinking of a Mark and Brian interview on KLOS with Tommy Lasorda. I was wondering if Mark remembers this story.
Actually, Mark and Brian were promoting an interview with Dodgers outfielder Manny Ramirez. Ramirez was a big trade deadline acquisition in July of 2008. He quickly turned the Dodgers into a playoff team and became the most popular player on the team. Every radio program in Los Angeles would have wanted to interview Manny Ramirez, so it was a big get for Mark and Brian to be promoting. When Mark and Brian went to the phone line to begin talking to Manny, they were greeted with a grumpy voice yelling “I’m not Manny!”. I even think that Mark and Brian hung up on the grumpy voice. After hanging up, Mark and Brian started thinking that the grumpy voice sounded a lot like Tommy Lasorda. Yes, Mark and Brian hung up on Baseball Hall of Famer Tommy Lasorda. Eventually, Mark and Brian got Tommy back on the phone line for a nice interview. This probably happened in 2008 or 2009.
Does this ring a bell, Mark? Do you have any memories of this?
Any chance that a clip of this interview from KLOS can be found and played?
I am also hoping to hear a Tommy Lasorda career retrospective from Todd.
Hey, Billy
Good call with the Todd Donaho Lasorda retrospective. I hope Mark gives him a call…his unexpected off~the~cuff tributes were always a treat on the M&B Show!
You can probably find the phone clip you’re looking for on the “Internet Archive”. I’m pretty sure that almost ALL of the M&B Shows are available there if you search hard enough. Just Google ” Internet Archive ” and you’ll find it. Good Luck!
