consider you guys family and love to hear how you and yours are doing.
Thought the Elvis movie was the best version of him I’ve seen.. I’ve had Unchained Melody stuck in my head ever since. Went on a search to se if anyone has done it better than Elvis. Better than Bobby Hatfield, Roy Orbison and wondered If Donny Osmund had covered it. Indeed he had but he was just a kid and wondered what it would sound like with his Adult voice? Any sound bites Mark?

Great to hear you back on the pod cast. Mark I know what you are going to announce on Heidi and Frank. On December 3 our 1st grandchild is due. Its unreal that you knew this even before us.

Welcome back! Matthew is correct with his recommendation to see older bands with new performers. Earlier this year my husband and I saw Lou Gramm with a bunch of āyoungstersā backing him up with Foreigner hits. He sounded fantastic! Additionally, the youngsters formed the new Asia group that opened for him. Only about 100 people at the show so we all got to hang out by the stage.

Regarding airline travel, thereās lots of stuff going on, like in many other businesses. The airlines have to maintain scheduling flights to keep those routes and gates. There are a myriad of reasons for flights to be cancelled. One of them is staffing as Covid continues to wreak havoc on crew.
Delta pilots are not on strike. They are doing informational picketing while theyāre in contract negotiations as allowed by the Railroad Labor Act (which covers all transportation businesses).
And, I know Mark was being funny suggesting a crop dusting pilot was being evaluated to fly a 757. The problem is there are people out there stupid enough to believe bullshit like that.
My source for this information is my lovely bride, a flight attendant for 30+ years with a major carrierā¦who is currently isolating herself with a case of Covid.

WOOOHOO welcome back!. Absolutely agree and frustrated with airlines. Had buddy round trip Dallas to Boston, has 11 unused boarding passes from his 15 flight changes.I’m having to drive 2 seperate almost back to 16 1/2 and 15 hour drives to work events, because can not trust getting to them on-time the way airlines are running.
Mark in regards to peeing all night…as one old guy to another. Try taking just half a viagra before bed, will hit the toilet vs floor with lights off, you’re welcome Lynda.

I reposted on FB about our tour of Muscle Shoals Studio a few years ago. The man who gave the tour said he knew Mark. I think we got a special tour because I name dropped Mark Thompson!! He really is a legend!!

Have you tried to fly in and out of Burbank Airport? It’s less crowded. My family uses this airport when we fly to NY. I don’t know if they have non- stop flights to North Carolina or not.

OH MY GOODNESS, I was so delighted to find your Friday 7/1/2022 podcast.
While you were in sunny Southern California, where I live, I retired at the young age of 70. I have been to Disneyland, 1 mile from my home, twice and rode every roller coaster and had a fantastic time. So happy you have been able t spend a wonderful time with your grandchildren. We are blessed with 7 and have a great-grandson. we are older and have been married 52 years. M&B listener 30.

I thanked the kid that brought me our food and I was sure I knew what he’d say…but then he said no problem! I felt cheated! You must have been in grandbaby heaven but, we’re all so happy you’re back! š
