Hi Mark and Skeeter We love your podcast and we love you both. You are like our best friends and our families are so alike but we have never met you.(so please do not stop recording it EVER!) We listen to your podcast on road trips and my husband I laugh and listen to cool stories in music (how about a three dog night episode) from our childhood and play what year is it over and over. We found your stoner list so f-n funny as my husband becomes smarter too when he gets high as I become small like Steve Martin. Hahahaha!
Anyway we have two short haired wired griffons and we live in Fort Collins Colo. we are retired 62 and 63 year old’s, we have 6 grandchildren with one on the way and we are so grateful for the blessings in our life and one of the blessings are you two….we love you and how transparent you both are. Oh by the way the dedicated Steve Meyers episode was a squealer of an episode. We loved it.
Hi Mark and Lynda. This is Diane and Gayle of the super sexy lesbians. It’s been forever since I have written you. I wanted to share that our daughter is pregnant and we will be grandmas. We will be Nonee and Oma. Anyway, could you share the name of the book you gave the girls when they were pregnant. The one that tells what is happening as the fetus and grows. I would love to get it for our daughter. Thank you for all you have done for all of us listeners over the years. Diane and Gayle.
Wow Mark! I just watched Mother Ghost. Thanks to a listener who said it was on Youtube. I thought your performance was great! I liked the message “Let it go.” Ok I admit it “I got teary eyed when you were talking about your mom in the studio. The funniest line in the movie is when your character said: I am nervous I never talked on the radio before! I always enjoy you and Lynda on the podcast!
First of all love you both and thank you for the time and effort in putting together a very cool show to end our weeks. However, Mark, You self centered old, really fucked up man, Wouldn’t it be funny if Linda(God Bless Her) Did the date in history and gave you the shit that you give her? Just sayin buddy you might be eating some crap there. Any hoos, Loive to you and yours, And as always Mark….EAT MY BALLS!!! 🙂
Lynda,
NO NO NO on the Star Trek. I’ve tried. Stick to your guns.
Airline comment – been in the biz 41 years.
Our view on that always was, why didn’t the husband buy his wife a F/C ticket to begin with? 🙂
They’re both valid points, and once the door is closed anything can be accomplished discreetly.
Let me encourage you to try watching the original Star Trek with Mark. Don’t start with episode 1 though you won’t like it there are 79 original episodes and more than 60 or so you would not like but there are probably a dozen or so you would like.
Start with the episode
“City on the edge of forever “
If you don’t like that you won’t like others if you do there are 4 more to try so let me know. Then if you like those you will like another ten or so
But Please try that one it’s guest star is a movie star I’m sure you have seen. Good luck & let us know what you think!

Guns are not the issue,
mental health is.
Violence of any kind is not acceptable in our society and there are many rules and laws against doing it.
Has breaking existing laws (and they broke a lot of them) stopped any one of these acts of violence? No, because the mentality ill and criminals don’t follow them.
Adding more laws that only punish lawful people is a lesson in futility.
Damnit Mark! You had me crying driving home in 50 mph wind’s with your opening comments about the shooting in Tennessee. My oldest son (34) and his wife have not had any kids. That is their choice, but honestly why should the younger generation want to bring children into the world we live in today. It is fucking scary (excuse the language). My youngest is a sophomore in college (no judgement there are 7 years between my 3 kids). My youngest wants to have kids but she is also attending a liberal arts college and has changed her mind about Trump, thank the Lord Baby Jesus. We live in Missouri, a Republican State. It has been a struggle for me personally (born and raised in California) seeing people openly carry firearms. My husband is from St Louis and went through a conceal and carry class to get his license to carry (before Missouri became an open carry gun state). He wanted me to do the same thing but I was not comfortable carrying a gun. It is a personal choice to carry a weapon and he takes that very seriously. I have a can of wasp spray in my car, that is my protection. The thought of our younger generation having to go through active shooter drills just breaks my heart. I do not blame your kids if they don’t want to put their kids in public schools and home school them. I know this post is long, but I just wanted you to know that your opening comments made a huge impact on me.
I know I am rambling, but it has been a long week. I made my husband listen to your opening statement tonight (he does not listen to podcasts) and he totally agreed with you. Changes need to be made.
Absolutely love the podcast, but please enjoy the time with your grand babies.
Hi Mark & Lynda,
I know this will not be read, as this is your last show for awhile. However, I want to make a comment about old people driving. My mother is going to 86 this May, her companion that she has lived with for 30+ years, he is nearing 90. My mother has told us that he is having dizzy spells and is losing his memory, getting lost and turned around. He drives my mother everywhere she needs to go, stores, doctors appointments and etc. I wish there was something we could do but as she is not married to him and his children will not do anything and if they tried there would be a huge fight, as he is a very angry old man and will not be told what to do. We are at a lost and are totally afraid that someday they will either be in a terrible accident or get lost somewhere and we would be able to find them. I wish there was a law that at a certain age you have to give up your driver’s license or take a test ever year or something. This is just my two cents on this issue. Have a wonderful time in Cali with your grandbabies. Thank you for the years of entertainment you have given us.

Hi Mark and Lynda. This is Stewart from Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, near Toronto. Not sure if you remember but I met you guys a few years ago at the Cleveland Film Festival, and interviewed Mark for a magazine.
I started a podcast a few weeks and I’m starting off very slow and hope you guys can help me spread the word about it. It’s called The Fussy Foodie and is about the love of food from the perspective of a fussy eater. It’s on Spotify and Apple, and I hope you can give it a listen and would love for some of your listeners to check it out too.

Hello Mark and Lynda – thank you for your wonderful show!
I bought and received 3 books, and was not lucky enough to get bookmarks.
Is there a way I can receive them?
Thank you very much!
