  3. Hello RG (Radio Goddess) and her husband, Mark.
    Mark, what did you say to do with your tankless hot water heater? Back flush or something? We got it 5+ years ago and we waste so much water, (in Los Angeles), waiting for the water to warm up. Now, the pressure is rising up and up.

  4. Mark and Lynda, I am not sure if you have seen the video from Nicole Sandler on Youtube ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_1NBwGtEdOs) It was a great video from 1993. These are her comments about the video..
    n 1991, I was working at KLOS/Los Angeles, as producer of the Mark & Brian Show, at the top the #1 morning show in LA.
    My father suffered a bad accident at the office. He was pushed, went over a partition and hit a desk… the bottom line was a spinal cord injury that left him quadriplegic for the rest of his life.
    I would fly home regularly to see him. His birthday was on Nov 19, so I was going home to visit. A co-worker suggested I shoot some video — a week in the life–to bring home for him as a gift.
    So, this tape was never intended for anyone other than my dad and sisters to ever see. I thought about editing it, but that’s too much work, and this is now a bit of history.
    So… the video begins on Saturday, November 14, 1992 (I know the video says 93, but that’s wrong–i was 1992) in the KLOS production room as I’m editing together a best of show to run on the following Wed morning, as we’re headed to Vegas after the show on Monday for a live broadcast Tues am and an event Tuesday night.

    We see the beach near where I lived at the time, went to Vegas, came back to the radio station and then to my apartment. Featured in cameos lots of people including Mark & Brian, GM Bill Sommers, Rita Wilde, Bob Coburn, Geno Michellini, Chuck Moshontz, Arlo Hultz, Rhonda Cherney, Laurie Nickoloff, CW West, Steven G. Smith, Carey Curelop,Robert “The Lucky Butt” Duggins, a ton of rock stars in Vegas (Jon Anderson, Todd Rundgren, Scott Page, Edgar Winter, Graham Nash, Alan Parsons, Producer Bob Ezrin…..) and lots more.
    Thirty years ago … just wow.

  5. Hello Mark.
    I have hundreds of cassette tapes of the Mark and Brian show recorded live from the broadcast. The box weighs about 80 pounds. I’m the last one in my family, I’ve never been married, because the girls keep dumping me, and I have no kids. I hate to see this collection go to waste. I have considered throwing them away. Is there any chance you would be interested in these tapes? Do you remember the limo Puker prank? The gal who threw up in the champagne bucket in the limo and didn’t tell anyone about it, and her girlfriend called in to have you confront her as though you’re the limousine company. Hilarious.   7. Hi guys. My daughter is an actress and just booked her first movie. I looked up the writer and lead on IMDb and its Rich Grosso from “The Assassin’s Code”. Maybe he was at the premier when we were there.

  10. Mark, that sound bite of Amy yelling at her dog to get out of the pool is the greatest thing ever! I played it for my wife when we were in the car, and we laughed so hard I thought we were going to get into a fuckin accident. Dod TIKTOK’s are great, especially the one of the dog eating corn on the cob. Love the book.
