My name is Raul from OC and I am turning 52 on December 14!
I am celebrating in San Diego with my girlfriend.
Would love a birthday bone! Much love to you and your family!
Hi Mark, This is really late, but I’d appreciate some birthday brass/chicken/Mr. Rogers. I turned 65 on October 15. The last few years, I’ve been flying back and forth between Pasadena and suburban-Boston to see my elderly parents. My mom just turned 94, and my dad will turn 94 in the spring. I cherish what time I have left with them for all the sacrifices they made bringing us to America 60 years ago and raising me.
I go several times a year, for a month to a month and a half at a time. Last year, I missed requesting my birthday brass because I was busy with my parents and didn’t know you were back! This year, I fell behind while spending time with my parents and have just caught up with your shows. Your show never fails to entertain, inform, make me laugh, and sometimes cry.
Here’s the birthday recap:
Haj turned 65 on Oct. 15
Akiko (my mom) turned 94 on Sep. 30
Ryan (my son) turned 23 on Nov. 6
60 years in America on Sep. 5
Thanks for indulging me. Thanks for being genuine. Thanks for all you do.
Hi Mark, need a birthday shout as I am turning 74 on December 7. I’m the lady who took the Bozo picture almost 30 years ago! Appreciated the photo credit in your book. Finally getting around to buying the audio version. As a retired librarian I prefer listening to a book especially when read by the author.
As but one SRL who has requested and received many a birthday wish from you over the years, I hope that you are including yourself this week, as it is truly a milestone. So to honor your entrance into your septuagenarian decade, grab as big a bone as your old hands can handle, and let ‘er rip! Welcome to the club.
Congratulations on officially surviving 7 decades !!
I can’t think of a better way to celebrate this momentous occasion than with a long, sensuous birthday bone….
followed by a set of bowling balls being rolled down the alley by a couple of babes.
Happy 70th RG!
Keep it going….
