Hi RG,
Last week you gave my wonderful wife a birthday bone. She loved it. However, my 25 year old twins, whose birthday was Feb 4, are giving me shit that I did not include them. Can you help a fellow pussywhipped dad out with a belated birthday bone to Megan and Spencer so they will show me some respect?
Hi Mark & Family – well, I’ve taken another quick trip around the sun & I can’t believe it’s my birthday again! Happy to be here to celebrate 73, yes, 73 years. I share this day with Eleni, Catherine O’Hara (RIP), Patricia Heaton, and Vivaldi, to name a few. Thanks, Mark, for making all of us laugh, cry & scratch our heads. Stay healthy!
Hootie Hoo, Mark! It’s Randy from Mission Viejo. I’m hoping to score a double birthday shout-out for my high school sweetheart, Laura — we’ve been together 38 years, and she’s turning 55 on February 27 — and for my son Braden, who’s turning 19 on the same day. Same birthday, double the cake, double the trouble! 🎉And thank you for “What You Do”- you really make a difference in so many of your fans’ lives!
Mark from Woodburn, Oregon. I turn 63 on March 2nd. Been listening to you since the early 90’s on M&B and then luckily found you on Mark and Lynda. Can’t thank you enough for what you do for all of us. Love the stories (funny and touching alike) and sharing of your life with us. You brighten our weeks. Keep doing what you do, cuz your the best.
45 plus year listener and can’t thank you enough for everything you do to make my life better. My wife Karen turns 66 on the 21st and she’s had a very hard year. She lost her mom, one of our beloved cats, and then our little 17 year old dog drowned in the pool- all in the past 3 months. I’m not trying to be a downer but nothing would make her happier than a birthday bone.
PS I’m the one you gave major shit to a few weeks ago about loving David Soul’s “Don’t Give Up On Us Baby.” You laid into me pretty hard dude. I’m going to write you a sternly written letter.
Hey Lamar…I will turn 65 yrs old on Feb 24, and 3 days later, retiring from working in Corporate America. Fuck ya!! That means more time to golf and listen to you! Been listening since week 2 of M & B show (I was on my honeymoon during your KLOS debut week). You haven’t lost your touch to entertain…OK, well maybe you have lost a few steps since. 70 looks good on you, though!
