Christmas At The Cabin

December 19, 2025

I always like to paint seasonal stuff. This is another Thomas Kincaid replication which took me about a month. My parents owned a small cabin in the woods, at which I spent most of high school years visiting on weekends. I think this is why I’m attracted to this type of scenery. Spending the holidays at your cabin in the woods is attractive to look at, but more than likely a pain in the ass to actually do it. That said, this is clearly an explosion of Christmas themes; I hope you enjoy looking, as I did doing.

My God Mark! You are unbelievably talented! All of these pictures are absolutely kick ass! I am so jealous, I tried doing pastels a few years back, and it looked like a five-year-old had been playing with the pastels. You, my friend, have found the secret to living your dream, you have passions in life, and you pursue them. Making movies, creating art, and of course your incredible podcasts that I am completely addicted to. Keep it coming!
    Love you!💙💙🤗💙💙

Beautiful job, Mark. I appreciate Thomas Kincaid’s work as well. In fact, I went to an auction and painting signing by him several years ago at the “Odyssey Resturant in Granada Hills, California. Purchased a painting of his called “Morning Dogwood”.
I was so delighted to meet him in person and have him sign my painting that I fell off the stage backwards and he had to help me up. Nothing like making a good impression with someone you admire!
Happy Holidays to you and the Thompson family! Looking forward to more of your shenanigans in 2026!
    Nurse Cherie. 🙂
