Soooooo. When you first said you were going to try and get Noah Wiley on your show I thought to myself “ good luck with that “. I had tried to find him on Instagram and give him a shout out for you but I swear I couldn’t find him and thought maybe your guy was just telling you he was going to come on. But Holy Buckets your guy came through and it was a fabulous interview. You asked all the right questions and he truly seemed sincere and happy to be talking to you. I listen to a few podcasts and yours is the one I look forward to the most (sorry Jason Bateman and crew). Keep on truckin RG!

Dear Radio deity, I know that you’ve mentioned that “Pop” is the mainstay of Pop culture but sometimes a song will come alongs that will make us wish for a quick death or have our heads explode like in Mars Attacks. The song is from Jessie “Murph” called “Blue Strips” WTF! I’m stunned it gets air time because dead-air sounds more interesting. But believe it or not, this “artist” is stunningly beautiful. Oh real quick, Onyx sounds just like Katie Thompson when she was singing to your son Mathew’s drum playing. FULL CIRCLE MOMENT!

    Hey, Mark —

I’m listening to the August 8 podcast and the “Songs I Hate” portion. Re: Billy Joel, if you’ve not seen the new documentary, “Billy Joel: And So It Goes,” I highly recommend it! I believe you’ll really enjoy it.

Thank you for ALL you do.

    Hey Mark,
Long time listener here. Also a dog lover. This might feel a little unusual, reaching out like this about my dog Ernie, but I know you understand what it’s like to love and lose a dog. Your words on your podcast have been on my mind as Ernie’s health rapidly declined over the last couple of days. I kept hearing you say it’s our responsibility as pet owners to do the right thing, and when I thought I would have to put Ernie to sleep, those words gave me strength.

In the end, Ernie went on his own, in the early hours of this morning- peacefully, surrounded by family and love.

Ernie wasn’t just a pet to me. He was my baby, my constant companion for almost sixteen years, present through so many of life’s biggest moments. My husband (then boyfriend) and I adopted him when we first moved in together. Ernie was there when we got engaged and married, and through the births of my children. He was part of every chapter of my life for the last nearly 16 years. We just celebrated his 16th birthday last week.

I wanted to share a little about Ernie with you as a tribute, not just for him, but for all of us who understand how deeply a dog can touch our hearts. If you find a moment to read this on your show, it would mean the world to me and keep his memory alive. He was such a good boy.

Thank you for speaking so honestly about loss, love, and what it means to care for these incredible souls.

    Thank you,
    Kelly Levo

      Hi Kelly,
We were told today that our dog Ollie (Standard Black Poodle) has an aggressive form of squamous cancer. He will be 9 this Sept. 1st. We have canceled all our travel plans so we can be with Ollie as long as he is comfortable. I can understand how much it hurts…….
We are so lucky to have the time we have with them. There are many times over the years that my Wife and I would probably of called it quits if it wasn’t for Ollie or the other family members that came before him. Neither of us would have been willing to give up the dog! There is nothing more heartwarming then the wag of their tail.
I feel your tribute and wish your family the best,
      Sincerely,
      Devin

Hey Mark! Currently on YouTube, the movies The Blob (1988 remake) and Tremors (1990) are available for free viewing. Tremors is one of my all time favorite movies, but I just saw this Blob remake and I thought it was great! The practical effects of people getting dissolved were amazing. I want to say that I want to put this up there just below John
Carpenter’s The Thing but I’m afraid you’ll call me a dumbass. Anyway, I’d like your opinion on these movies. Tell Lynda I’ll call her tonight, thanks.

    Hey Mark!
Couple weeks ago I mentioned that me and my family were going to see Shinedown at the Forum. It was a great show!!! My son got an autograph, and the guitarist’s wristband and even caught a guitar pick.
This leads me to last week. You mentioned it was the anniversary of American Top 40 with Casey Kasey. Trivia question, the last American Top 40 with Casey Kasem was July 4, 2009. The last number one song was “Second Chance” by Shinedown.

I also have some great movie recommendations for you.
Dog Movie: “Arthur the King” with Mark Wahlberg.

A few months back you mention McFarland USA. I have a similar movie with Mathew Modine called “Hard Miles,” a film based on the true story of Greg Townsend, a social worker who forms a cycling team of teenage convicts. The movie follows their 1,000-mile bike ride from Denver to the Grand Canyon, exploring themes of redemption, teamwork and overcoming personal challenges.

Heard ya on the radio. Admit it, it gave you a little Puffy to be back on the air, you might even say it gave you a Woody….
Word on the street is there may be a future for you in terrestrial radio!

OMG Mark! Didn’t you hear Onyx singing exactly like Katie when she was little? It was eerie. She’s a cutie and so smart!
As Scott Noble suggested, maybe Lynda would come back for What Year Is It. I would love that too.
    Hey to Goober.

Hey cock taster, just finished the show with Noah. Great interview, way to go RB for being resilient, Mark you should give Bob a raise. Hey since you like taking suggestions from us srls, why don’t you take that new technology you got with going mobile and see if your lovely wife would do just what year was it again at her convenience without having to do the full show? We need some better entertainment, your just okay. Love to hear her voice again just like old times for that segment.

    Cheers from N. Idaho 🍻🍻

Is it just me, or did you also think that John Kay lead singer of Steppenwolf sounded like the guy who went on one date, then continued to leave messages about how great he was, and how lucky she would be to go out with him again?

P.S. Great job with Noah, I was hoping you’d would ask him about the ark!

Hey Mark! I’m a long time listener but I stepped away for a minute so I’m getting caught up with the episodes. Did I hear right? You don’t drink anymore? Health reasons or personal choice? Cigars too? Either way, I hope you’re doing well, and I’m glad to be back on board. I listen to quite a few podcasts, and yours is the one that makes me laugh the most. Anyway, keep doing what you’re doing bitch, and suck my balls! Go Raiders!

    Hey Lynda…wussuuuup?
