Mark, could you post a list of your favorite movies. I always listen in the car and can’t write them down. Plus I am old as fuck and can’t remember shit! I love a good recommendation! The Pitt is awesome. You should do a cameo😉😉. Love you!!!

Hey Mark, it’s Fuckin’ Craig. The story about teaching Matt to pee outdoors brought back a memory from my 20’s that I had totally forgotten about. My girlfriend and her son were living with me. Girlfriend was gone for a couple of days. I told her I would work on potty training. I lived in an apartment that had a creek just off my deck. I took him out there and showed him how to pee off the deck. He did it great. The next week my girlfriend was at her mom’s condo. You know the kind where all the units look down at the pool. Boy walked out to the deck and watered all the people below. I received quite the phone call. Thanks for that reminder! 🙂

    Hi Mark,
Warning: this is a long one, as is my connection to you. First, let me say thank you for keeping us entertained over the years. I first heard about you in 1989 after I had returned to San Diego from a 3-year stint teaching English in Japan. One of my students at SDSU was from LA and loved your show. The radio in the house couldn’t get a clear KLOS signal, but then-girlfriend’s Honda got the signal clear as a bell. Great times when we could catch some of your show.

After finishing grad school, I went back Japan to teach at another gig while girlfriend finished her BS at SDSU. While we were separated, I tried to make a happy birthday call through your M&B show. I was told you guys don’t take birthday calls, but since I was in Japan, they would ask. Your assistant came back on the line and said you guys wanted to take the call and for me to wait on hold. About every 10-15 minutes someone would come back on and say, they REALLY want to talk with you, so hold on. Well, needless to say after two hours on hold, the show finished and I got a: very sorry, but they ran out of time. I got a $200 phone bill.

All during that time, girlfriend was sending occasional M&B cassette tapes that I would play in my car. We got married in 1993 and lost connection to your show. One day, just weeks before you retired from KLOS, my wife discovered your shows online. I was able to catch up somewhat, get connected to your final shows, and find out how to get your new shows. I’ve been up-to date-since.

We (including our daughter who came from New York) were even able to make it to the show at the Sabon in December, 2022. The 3 of us were sitting at a table and were 3 of the only 4 people masked up for COVID (masking has always been a thing in Japan). When I saw you hanging out behind the small stage for Donny Osmond, I stood up and gave you a wave. You made eye contact and returned the wave—thanks for that. I thought if I (or we) made a move towards you, it might freak someone out.

    So here we are in 2025, where’s my $200? In inflation-adjusted dollars, it’s about 446. 😲

I just finished watching The Penguin series on HBO and it is fantastic. Superb acting and a really good story. If you haven’t already, I highly recommend.

Mark, I love your cool stories in music segment. I was looking back about your past endeavours and that you tried to sell that ideal to those corporate assholes. Would you consider making those stories a weekly feature. Hey to Linda and Walker

Few observations about last weeks show:

    1. The girl with the cucumber up her ass just wanted to make a pickle. Didn’t realize how long it would take.

    2. I bought a CW McCall record last year for that one song, Convoy – the rest of the album SUCKS! Except Convoy.

Hooty Hoo and Loving you DADDY!
