Use this page to say hey, ask a question (which probably won’t get answered), or just to kiss the RG’s ass.

Great show as usual, but you may need a little help with math and how to figure a calendar. This Week in History: Dear Abby first coming onto the scene Jan 1956 , you state you were 1 year old. Wrong! You were barely one month old. You were born Dec 1955. Abby first appears Jan 56. That’s only one month.
Then again in Jan 1968 the USPS raises price of stamp to 6 cents, you state you were 13 yrs old. That would only be true if the price increase happened in Dec 1968. Correct age is 12yr & 1 month.
I know I am being nit picky, but got to set the record straight.
One last thing, I think I heard two M&Ms drop to the floor
    Again great show
    Cheers Tom

Hey RG, I was watching an episode of the Andy Griffith show and I noticed a map behind Andy’s desk. I had to rewind and look at it a few times. I realized it was a map of Idaho turned upside down. I got a good chuckle out of that.
I really enjoy listening to the show every week. You make me and my wife laugh.

Best regards, Steve Merritt from Northern Idaho.
P.S. Argar Largar, I haven’t seen Bigfoot yet but patiently waiting. 😂

Hey Mark, long time listener first time caller.
You mentioned song sung blue in today’s show but you didn’t mention the original documentary it’s based on.
I’m sure by now someone has pointed it out but if not here it is.

    Mark,
I saw Song Sung Blue last week. Loved it. I immediately came home and watch the documentary it was based on. You should watch it after seeing the movie.

Also, I have often wondered if you have any Jay Thomas stories. If so, I would love to hear them.

Each week, my husband and I listen to your podcast separately and discuss it after. A favorite part of our week. Thank you for what you do!

Hi Mark welcome back, As always great podcast. Neil Diamond is on of my favorite singers and I agree with you all of the 10 songs were great, But they should have listed them different. #10 could have been #1, all off them could have been switched around. Later RG

Suggested Guest: Dion Giolito – https://illusionecigars.com/the-illusione-story/#:~:text=It's%20Not%20Your%20Imagination%3A%20Illusione,Vitola%20Perspective%3A%20Dion%20Giolito

Dion owns and runs Illusione Cigars. He is what he is and doesn’t apologize for it. I have heard Mark speak about smoking a cigar more than once, so I don’t believe he is a casual smoker and would appreciate Dion as a guest. Not sure if the women listeners would. Dion also has a musical background – Rockabilly trio. The link I put above spells it all out.

Side note, while not a listener who has kissed the ring or has listened to each and every episode of everything you ever recorded, I did grow up in LA and enjoyed the whole time you were on. “Don’t bump the record” was great. Howard Stern is a dick. I rank you in listenability as a host with Carson and Art Bell (this is meant as a compliment). All I could think about when I found you was getting to spend the next few months catching up on my new found listening pleasure.

    Thank You.

    Sounds of pets drinking/eating.
My kitten Ruthie drinking from the sink faucet.

Last week was an action packed and fully loaded show. Great show. You could tell you were chomping at the bit, to get back to podcasting after a few weeks off.

    Hey Mark,
Great show on Friday, was the background/filler music turned up a notch? The songs seemed upbeat.
Glad you and the Family had a great time over the holiday.

    Hi Mark

Great Christmas show. I always love listening to the reading of the Polar Express. I do like Chucks version the best. Down in Oceanside they have a train that does a version of the Polar Express We took our 3 year old granddaughter and she loved it I know that Oceanside may be a bit of a drive for your family but it was worth it On another topic What the hell is going on? Your son and my daughter married people from Jersey. What the fuck. Then they go to Jersey for Christmas What B.S. Just venting Anyway your show is alway fantastic Keep doing what you do for hopefully many more years

Happy New Year to you and the family. Sounded like you had a wonderful holiday season. With all the binge watching you and Lynda did on your time off, was wondering if you finished The Beast In Me? If so was wondering what you thought?

    Cheers from N. Idaho 🥃🥃
