Mark, the tribute you gave to Maureen great but “I bet you didn’t know” there is a very interesting side story regarding her “brief comeback” in. 1991. That was a John Candy move called “Only the Lonely”. She played John Candy’s mother. When the actors arrived at the set, they had given her a very small trailer. Candy was incensed and told the produces so. When they refused to budge, he angrily had his belonging from his trailer and gave her the keys. After three days of watching their star just sitting around without one, they caved and bought another full sized trailer for Candy. She talks about it in her autobiography, and refers to Candy as the finest actor she had worked with next to John Wayne.
It’s Richard the guy who send the annoying words and sayings I have a few more The first is why do people say “that’s a good question.”Not all questions are good some are stupid. Next after a sporting event why is the first question the interviewer asks is “so how do you feel.” How do you think they feel they just won. The last one for this rant and rave is “drive safe” Do you think I drive like crazy idiot
Mark. Just a thanks for the Birthday shout out and retirement advise. Yes I’m doing what I love every day and I cant believe how time is flying by! Im finding myself asking wifey “what day is it?” Then I’m “what again?’ It was Sunday yesterday. Or whatever day! The U.S has been great to me and I know we’ll be fine…. Cheers again
Hey RG, tell that bitch at the pool company to go get fucked ! Why do you pay for a service that you have to do the work? There has to be a pool service in your area that will gladly take your money and perform the job as required.

Episode 32…the Lynda waffle story….hysterical. At least she TRIES to cook. Give her a thumbs up for that at least! You old goat! Plus she has to put up with you. She’s a saint.
Also, loving the cool stories in music. Absolute favorite part of the shows. Andrew Gold wrote the Mad about you TV theme? What????? Wow…love that song. His voice was the first on Mars? What?? Love your fun facts!
The Top TV theme songs 20-11. Great! Brought back memories..the Jeston’s, Hawaii Five-O…
Thanks Mark. Keep up the good radio jock work!

Of course, we love the show! It has been great having Lynda pop in once in a while. We would love if you could reach out to Jordon, and update us on how he is doing. Hoping he is doing well and pursuing his dreams.
Mark, Joanne’s idea of an outdoor shower is excellent. I am available this July. I would drop a slew of Bathroom remodel photos right here as an advertisement normally but since the “Feels like the first time” comments I am a bit shaken on confidence. Plus, I fear that you would hire me just so the band could show up and confront me. Love the show and the way you and Linda support the family.
Hey Mark, just listened to the latest show and need an inquiry 😄. This day in history said that last week the Beatles were on Ed Sullivan. They did three Ed Sullivan shows February 1964 and one in September 1965.
Love the show and all that you do. Just one question. How could they leave off the list of worst songs an actor sings William Shatners rendition of Rocket Man. That has to be the worse cover of a song ever by anyone
Hey Mark,
I see the show is getting shorter, can we get some of the top 10 sandwiches or cheeses list or something?
EP 82 we got 114 min. of WYD. Last week, EP 88 61min.
Just say’n the traffic is not getting any faster out here in LA.
Whooty F’n Hoo!!
Hi Mark. That was an interesting tidbit about “Good Vibrations” by The Beach Boys being their last #1 hit of the 1960’s. Do you know what their next #1 hit was? If you don’t know, maybe ask your son, Matt. You might have heard him sing it before.
Hey RG, My wife and I recently went on a road trip, we listened to a few missed episodes of Mark & Linda, which included ass whipping, I’m sorry, two ass whips isn’t enough! THANKS SO MUCH, I now count my ass wipes, averaging 4, I guess not good?
Hey Mark! I’m getting caught up right now on last week‘s episode and heard your story about your glasses falling in the water off of your dock! I’m just so curious to see what the gardeners must’ve been saying when you went back out in your clean shorts before you got all muddy again! Sidenote, we live at Lake Norman also and I understand there’s a guy that you can actually hire that will dive for you to get your lost items such as cell phones or glasses or whatever. Maybe you can do a quick search and find him! If you do, you’re gonna have to share the result with all of us!
Can you believe how low the lake is right now? Has it ever been this slow while you’ve lived here? We’ve only been here two years and we are just so surprised how low it is this year. We moved from Southern California also. I think your next home project should maybe be considering an outdoor shower because your shenanigans are making Lynda’s kitchen messy! I feel like I can hear Lynda right now shouting… Get out of the fucking kitchen!
Mark
What episode is Andy’s intro to I need a lover? The song started on the radio this morning and i couldn’t help but laugh. I so need to hear him again. Thanks. Argar Largar!!!
